Nestled on the northern shores of beautiful Lake Leon, the Lone Cedar Golf Course is characterized by its breathtaking view of the lake, its naturally wooded terrain, and inspired by the beauty of the rolling central Texas hill country. The original nine hole course was revitalized and an additional nine holes are being added. The goal of course designers Morris Greenhaw and John Gill was to make it extra challenging with the addition of more water hazards and sand traps. The now full 18-hole course, scheduled for completion in August of 2007, will no doubt be the “crown jewel” of this incredible development. Players of every level are sure to view this championship course, so close to home, as more than they bargained for. Frequent tournaments and a fully stocked pro-shop make this well rounded championship course simply unmatched.
